Professional Dog Kennels, Dog Training & Pet Grooming in Kansas City, MO

First visit to Elkhound was wonderful. Dogs came home exhausted, very convenient to airport, everyone working there was very nice. Will definitely fo back.

Our two dogs stayed at Elk Hound Ranch for two weeks while we traveled to Spain. Because our Lexie has anxiety they let the dogs share a large kennel during their stay. That made Lexie feel so much calmer. They really know and do dogs well at Elk Hound Ranch.

We had our doubts as we have used several trainers in the past. We selected the 2 week board and train for Kevin's reactivity while we were on vacation. Bill and the whole crew seemed to care and we are happy to report Kevin's reactivity around other dogs (at least so far) is vastly improved. Will will train again with Bill and we are going on a cruise in March so Kevin will not be a stranger here.

My dogs always run to the door to go inside Elkhound. That says a lot to me about their impression on being boarded. And there’s no issues with leaving me to go back to their kennel. I feel comfortable leaving my dogs at Elkhound.

My puppy gets dropped off on weekdays for daycare while I am at work. Thankful to have a reliable place that I know she is taken care of during the day.
