Closed Sunday
Sunday Check-Ins by appointment only between 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Pets shall be picked up before 3 PM Tuesday-Friday and before Closing Time every other day. See Business Hours for Closing Times. Pets staying after the 3 PM checkout will be charged an additional $30 (per pet) fee unless a bath or groom is ordered. Should a Bath or Groom be ordered, customers will receive a complimentary 6 PM checkout. ALL pets not checked out prior to Closing Time of any day will indeed be charged an additional night stay.
All pets are given a brief pre-entry check on arrival. Anything unusual should be brought to our attention. If fleas or ticks are found, we will need to treat your pet prior to entering the kennel. The pre-entry check performed by our kennel attendants is superficial only and not intended to replace a physical exam performed by your veterinarian or imply medical judgment.
All dogs are required to have current vaccinations for rabies, distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough). These vaccinations must be administered no later than 3 days prior to boarding.
All cats are required to have current vaccinations for feline rabies and distemperi. These vaccines must be administered no later than 3 days prior to boarding.
If your pet requires veterinarian services during a stay in the kennel, we will contact the veterinarian you have listed during the check-in process. If necessary, we will transport your pet to your veterinarian for service, for a nominal fee. In the event your veterinarian cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to contact our in-house veterinarian to examine and treat your pet’s illness at your expense. Elkhound Ranch Kennels is affiliated with Cross Roads Animal Hospital.
